Finance: Beyond the Basics
Tuesday July 28, 2026 1:30pm - 3:00pm PDT
For directors who already know their way around Program 267 and are ready to go deeper. This session takes on the financial questions that don’t have easy answers — especially the ones rising to the top of every director’s list right now. We’ll work through budgeting in tough times, including how to hold programs together through student enrollment decline; the Safety Net process and what makes for a strong application; the benefits of Voluntary CEIS funding; the realities of staying within Maintenance of Effort; and the strategy of blending and braiding funding streams so every dollar reaches students. Bring real examples from your district — we’ll work through them together.
