This session strengthens MTSS Tier 1 foundations in secondary schools by building collaboration, consistency, and shared responsibility for student success. Strong Tier 1 practices improve engagement, reduce course failures, support executive functioning, and lessen the need for intensive interventions. Staff reflect on current practices, identify inconsistencies, set a shared Tier 1 goal, and determine supports needed to implement effective, schoolwide systems.
