This session presents the AT-MTSS framework from the Journal of Special Education Technology (McMahon & Tucker, 2025), outlining how assistive technology can be organized across universal, targeted, and specialized tiers of support. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of educator roles, stronger alignment between AT, UDL, and MTSS, and practical strategies to improve timely, equitable, and more coherent AT implementation in schools and districts.
