This session will introduce the use of systems thinking tools and resources to create a greater alignment of your math intervention system to a non-discrepancy model. Practical tools and strategies will be introduced, such as the Connection Circle and the Habits of a Systems Thinker, to identify important steps towards the transition of identifying those with learning disabilities in math and implementing assessments that surface student thinking to support strategic and targeted interventions.
