Secondary schools often rely on individualized, reactive responses that escalate behavior and increase exclusionary discipline. What if support was designed systemwide instead? This session explores how strong Tier 1 systems—predictable environments, shared adult responses, and integrated SEL—reduce escalation and reliance on exclusion.
